The “Tenuta La Cipressaia” estate stretches over the hills around Florence and his approx, 18Km from the city. Established in 1937, the estate comprises vineyards, olive groves, sowing land, woods, an ancient villa- the central part of which dates back to the 17th century- and the “ripa”winery,located in a village of etruscan origin,where the wine is produced.The vineyards, selected to obtain a limited fruit yield to produce quality wine,grow on a soil that is highly suited to the cultivation of vines that mainly originate from clones developed on the farm.
