The castle consists of several buildings grouped around a seventeenth century villa, with a fortified tower which traces its origins to the thirteenth century; the whole commands a dominating position over the surrounding valleys. The estate extends for about 200 hectares, of which 45 produce wine, and 15 are devoted to specialised oil cultivation and it owns 30% of the vineyards in the Chianti Montespertoli denomination.
